The people's movements refuse to let the Democratic Party claim to represent us while they refuse to support our demands for an end to the siege on Gaza, an end to racist systems, good living and working conditions, the defense of LBGTQ and reproductive rights, legalization for undocumented workers, and more.

We are leading, behind the banners and speakers of Chicago’s Palestinian organizations, a national march on the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago in August 2024 to let Genocide Joe and the Democratic Party know that they can’t sleepwalk into our votes.

Our march will bring tens of thousands of people to the front door of the DNC, and we need the equipment, from vests to sound systems, to make our voices heard and keep us safe. We need to purchase water, medical kits, portable toilets, a stage, banners, and so much more.

We cannot host a national march without material contributions from the people’s movement. If you stand against the war machine and for the rights of working and oppressed people, we call on you to join the march in August and support its build-up.

The repressive forces of the Chicago Police Department (CPD) have millions at their disposal to attempt to dismiss our march, including an infusion of $75m from the federal government to build up their security apparatus, including a new helicopter to police our movements.

We need funds to ensure that the March on DNC coalition is prepared to organize a march that is family-friendly, accessible to our vulnerable community members, and can withstand the repression of the CPD and other security forces.
